Ralph Gibson was one of the founders of Target Realty, along with Paul Watamanik and Bill Browne, when the business officially started in 1984, opening its doors on June 1, 1985. Ralph is regarded as a leader and mentor, bringing exceptional management, insight, and guidance to the team at Target Realty.


Ralph’s expertise in the industrial, investment, land, and leasing markets and sales experience in transactions involving land development, representation of owners, users, developers, landlords, and investors has led to long-lasting client relationships in the Alberta market.


Throughout Ralph’s 35-plus years of local experience in the Calgary commercial market, he has had the pleasure of working with start-up companies to local and national chains. Some of his most satisfying accomplishments have been working alongside companies that started on a shoestring and grew into major corporations.


Ralph has been very active in the community throughout the years. He was a member of Calgary North Rotary Club for 26 years, serving as president in 1988-89 during the Calgary Olympics. He was a member of the Calgary South Rotary Club for almost 10 years. He volunteered with the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede for 27 years, working with visiting bands from around the world. He was also chairman of the Rotary World Youth Exchange committee for a number of years.






Name an address, and Harvey Aronovich can likely tell you the building and its history. He’s a vault of information that knows the clients, products, and market better than anyone – combine this with his tenacious negotiating skills and you have a force to be reckoned with.

Harvey has been negotiating in the industrial real estate market for over 35 years. He was Target Realty’s first employee in 1988 and became a principal owner in 2001, proving himself as a top producer. His performance consistently ranks in the top 1% of the industrial brokerage community in Calgary.


His straightforwardness and absolute enthusiasm make him fun to do business with and clients have complete confidence in Harvey’s guidance. He is passionate about selling and leasing space that makes people’s businesses productive, and he won’t steer his clients in a direction that doesn’t achieve that goal.


Harvey’s lively, competitive nature fuels his leisure activities – hockey in the winter and golf in the summer. He appreciates time with his wife and their grown kids and he also volunteers with the B’nai Brith service organization.







Bob Legros brings over 30 years of ownership, sales, and management experience to Target Realty. He specializes in both tenant and landlord representation for leasing and provides valuable ear-to-the-ground market information to clients. With strong negotiation skills, Bob is both patient and persistent which gives him the ability to execute effectively and timely to ensure that clients secure the best deal. Bob makes sure his clients receive clear and concise information to find the right rate, term, and fit for their business.


Bob is an avid sports participant. He was an athlete in his younger years and has been a high-level professional coach in downhill skiing. He continues to be involved with Special Olympics Canada in Alpine Skiing as a technical adviser.








When Wayne Berry began his career in real estate in 1980, his father gave him this advice, “If you want to excel in real estate you have to specialize in one field, that way you can concentrate on knowing it inside out and service your clients to the best of your ability.” That advice became a guiding principle for Wayne, and now approaching 40 years in the business, Wayne has hundreds of long-standing clients who benefit from the expertise and broad knowledge of the industrial market that he has acquired over his career.


Wayne loves industrial real estate because it is always fresh. Every time the phone rings there is a new adventure, and it is particularly satisfying when the call is from someone new who was referred by a previous client.


Born and raised in Calgary, Wayne grew up playing community sports and later became involved in various youth sports both at the organizational and coaching levels. When he’s not attending sporting events, his 3 children and 5 grandchildren keep him entertained.







Wayne Hill is an expert in land development and acquisition. He is involved in property management, construction and commercial real estate ventures, with a focus on marketing land for development by automotive dealerships, hotels, restaurants and warehousing.


With over 45 years of experience in the industry, the experience and insight that Wayne has developed over the years in brokering land development for industrial and commercial properties is highly valued and sought after by clients. Wayne joined Target Realty in 2000 and is a principal owner in the company.






Kenyon Chipman is a principal of Target Realty, first joining the team in 2002. Experienced in all areas of commercial real estate, his primary focus is on sales and leasing in industrial real estate. Kenyon enjoys the challenge of helping people solve their real estate problems and searching out properties for specific people, such as investors.


With over three decades of commercial real estate accomplishments, Kenyon is an efficient, honest, and trustworthy member of the team. He is an expert at keeping in touch with a lifetime of contacts and has loyal, long-term relationships with clients.






Jim has spent over 40 years in the commercial real estate industry in Calgary. One of the most respected brokers in the industry, Jim joined Target Realty in 1993 and has been the Broker since 1998. Jim is diligent and provides exceptional service to his clients. He is a vital part of the Target Realty team as a mentor providing guidance to the agents when required.


Jim has served on the Board of Directors for the Catholic Family Service of Calgary for over 22 years, serving as the chair for several years. He was a longtime member of the Rotary Club of Calgary North, serving as the president in 1988. Jim was a member of the Parish Council at St. Pius X Church in Calgary, with several years serving as Council Chair. Jim stays active playing old-timer hockey and as a hobby, carves wooden birds.








Aaron joined Target Realty in 2016, bringing 12 years of management, sales, and service experience to assist his commercial real estate clients. In his prior roles, Aaron developed excellent listening and negotiating skills and gained an appreciation for the importance of details in pulling transactions together.


Aaron has built a reputation for being honest, ethical, and trustworthy. As a negotiator, he has a keen eye and strong voice on behalf of his clients. Aaron specializes in lease, sell, or purchase of a property whether industrial, office, investment or land.


Aaron enjoys all manner of sport but prides himself on playing top-tiered men’s organized soccer. He is an avid mountain biker, who’s consistently looking for new trails and challenges. Married with two children, Aaron and his family enjoy camping and adventure. They head out to the Rockies as often as they can to explore the great outdoors.









Greg brings over 30 years of experience in understanding and solving complicated business needs. He will focus on finding a solution for you that achieves the best results. Greg’s goal is to surpass your expectations with his business expertise and reputation for being honest, ethical, and trustworthy.


Whether he is advising landlords on how to market and lease their commercial properties, helping tenants find and secure new space for their businesses, or guiding owners and investors to the right investment opportunities, Greg enjoys every aspect of his work. He derives particular satisfaction from working with tenants to help them find new locations that will enhance their operations and improve their profitability

Before his career in real estate, Greg was in the Information Technology (I.T.) and Telecommunication fields for 28 years working for business owners and managers helping them to be more effective and strategic with sophisticated technology & service solutions.  Previous to that, he was a financial planner and stockbroker for seven years helping individuals with their personal investments and tax planning needs.


Greg and his wife enjoy many different activities, such as downhill skiing, traveling, hiking, tennis, kayaking, camping, and entertaining.  








Paul Rudolf has been licensed in Real Estate since 1992.  Paul is a skilled negotiator with experience in Commercial Property Management, Development, Procurement & Acquisition, and Leasing.


His primary focus is on Sales and Leasing in Retail and Industrial Real Estate.  Aside from his experience, Paul brings integrity, honesty, and the persistence required to help his clients, using innovative ideas that consistently lead to the successful completion of Real Estate transactions.

Brad joined our team in November 2019.  Brad brings with him eight years of experience providing quality service to clients in real estate sales, leasing surface rights on crown land, municipal development, and has a background in land use planning through his undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary.  


His background has allowed him to develop a strong ability to understand client’s needs and to find unique solutions to problems.  


Brad is focused on sales and leasing of industrial, development land, investment, and office.  


Brad enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and hockey, reading, and practicing nature photography.







As the Office Administrator since 2004 for Target Realty, Louise Hubbard is invaluable to the day-to-day operation of the company. She is an expert in marketing clients’ properties, conducting research, and assisting the agents to ensure they have everything they need so that they can concentrate on their business.


Louise’s role has grown far beyond her background in office administration, sales, and accounting – she fills in the role of Webmaster, social media manager, marketing coordinator, and everything in between. She has the ability to prioritize and multitask under pressure, and at the same time she can always be relied on to provide cheerful customer service.


Her caring qualities extend to her volunteer activities – Louise has been involved with her community association and with the Calgary Food Bank to collect food and donations for special events. She spends her spare time walking her Bernese Mountain Dogs and hanging out with her family.
